GoAcara Terms of Use

2. Acceptance of These Terms

By creating an account, submitting an event, or using any part of the Platform, you confirm that you:

• are at least 18 years old, or are using the Platform with appropriate parental or guardian consent
• have the legal authority to enter into these Terms
• agree to comply with all applicable Malaysian laws and regulations

3. Your Account

Some features require an account.

You are responsible for:

• keeping your login credentials secure
• ensuring information you provide is accurate and up to date
• all activities conducted through your account

GoAcara may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms.

4. Event Submission

If you submit an event, you confirm that:

• you are authorised to represent the organiser or have permission to publish the information
• all submitted information is accurate to the best of your knowledge
• you have the rights to use all images, logos and promotional materials uploaded
• your submission does not infringe copyright, trademarks or other intellectual property rights
• you will promptly update GoAcara if event details materially change

Submitting an event does not guarantee publication.

5. Moderation

To maintain the quality, safety and trustworthiness of the Platform, GoAcara reserves the right to:

• review submissions before publication
• request additional verification or supporting information
• edit formatting, spelling, categories or tags for consistency
• reject submissions that do not meet our guidelines
• remove or unpublish events at any time where necessary

Moderation decisions are made to preserve the integrity of the Platform and do not necessarily reflect the legality or quality of an event.

6. Platform Neutrality

Listing on GoAcara does not constitute endorsement, recommendation or certification by GoAcara.

Users remain responsible for making their own decisions before attending any event.

Organisers remain solely responsible for:

• event delivery
• ticketing
• refunds
• participant safety
• permits and licences
• compliance with applicable laws

7. User Conduct

You agree not to:

• submit false or misleading information
• impersonate another individual or organisation
• upload malicious software or harmful code
• interfere with the Platform's operation
• scrape, harvest or copy Platform data without permission
• use the Platform for unlawful activities
• post abusive, defamatory, hateful or fraudulent content

Violation of these rules may result in account suspension or removal.

8. Intellectual Property

Users retain ownership of content they submit.

By submitting content to GoAcara, you grant GoAcara a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free licence to:

• display
• reproduce
• adapt for formatting purposes
• promote
• distribute

that content solely for operating and promoting the Platform.

GoAcara branding, logos, designs and software remain the property of GoAcara unless otherwise stated.

9. Accuracy of Information

While we aim to provide accurate and up-to-date information, event details may change without notice.

GoAcara does not guarantee that:

• event information is complete
• venues remain unchanged
• organisers will proceed as planned
• events will not be cancelled or postponed

Users should verify important details with the official organiser before making travel or purchasing decisions.

10. Third-Party Links

The Platform may contain links to third-party websites, ticketing platforms or social media pages.

GoAcara is not responsible for the content, privacy practices or services provided by third parties.

11. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, GoAcara shall not be liable for:

• cancelled or postponed events
• inaccurate event information provided by organisers
• financial losses arising from attendance or non-attendance
• personal injury or property damage occurring at events
• technical interruptions or Platform downtime

Your use of the Platform is at your own risk.

12. Privacy

Your use of the Platform is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which explains how personal information is collected, used and protected.

13. Suspension or Termination

GoAcara may suspend or terminate accounts or remove content where:

• these Terms are breached
• fraudulent or harmful activity is detected
• legal obligations require removal
• continued access poses a risk to the Platform or community

14. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time.

Material changes will be communicated through the Platform where appropriate.

Continued use of the Platform after updates constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
